NORTH COAST TOURS COMING SOON

SEEK ADVENTURE AND SERENITY IN THIS ICONIC REGION

Haida Gwaii Kayak is excited to offer it’s newest tour in partnership with TRAK Kayaks. Guests are ideally TRAK kayak owners or are seasoned sea kayakers looking to try a TRAK kayak in a remote expedition setting.

The Great Bear Rainforest is BC’s largest protected area only accessible by boat or plane. So what better and more intimate way than to witness it’s natural splendor than from the seat of a kayak, that’s extremely portable no less! Weave your way through epic inlets with cascading falls and a range of wildlife that includes eagles, seals, sea lions, humpback whales, wolves and both grizzly and black bears.

The landscape of this area holds ancient stands of Sitka Spruce and Western Red Cedar trees up to 1,000 years of age. Waterfalls are not uncommon nor are gorgeous beaches that stretch to the expanse of the open west coast.

Intermediate to advanced paddling experience required and verified.
